He said that as a first step towards it he had submitted a letter to the Speaker of Parliament and Speaker of Himachal Assembly that his pension both from the Parliament and Himachal Assembly should be stopped. There are about 90,000 government employees in the state who are entitled to contributory pension that comes to just about Rs2,500 to Rs3,000 per month. —  Rajan Sushant, former MP “I will not opt for pension as an MP or an MLA till old pension scheme for all employees was restored,” Sushant said.
